A solo hilarious show that discusses life, parenthood and what it means to be a woman.

Am I Losing My Mind or Just My Figure? is a solo, original physical comedic play that discusses navigating womanhood. The production is a collaboration between Untethered and Hinterland. The show tells the story of Fin who suddenly falls pregnant whilst balancing her zero-hour cycle courier job and freelancing illustrator job: colliding societal norms and expectations with Fin’s future. With a story set to be able to tackle a range of themes, Am I Losing My Mind or Just My Figure? has been given a range of high ratings at previous productions: making this a must see!

Genevieve Labuschagne plays the role of Fin and is phenomenal throughout. Although it is a solo show, Labuschagne is able to transform between two characters which work really well for the storyline. I also thought the use of imagery was well utilised: allowing for more people without them actually being there. This show blends comedy and emotion really effectively, mixing between the two at times. Labuschagne’s acting talent is on full display and had the audience both laughing and emotional within the hour. It was sometimes an emotionally charged piece so I would recommend reading the warnings beforehand. Labuschagne’s delivery allowed the show to be an encapsulating story throughout!

Am I Losing My Mind or Just My Figure? continues to play till Sunday 2nd August. Book your tickets now!

Tickets for this production were provided complimentary. Many thanks to ANRPR for organising the tickets and we wish Am I Losing My Mind or Just My Figure? all the best!
