Ghosts is a new dark comedy drama premiering at the studio space at Greenwich Theatre South London from the 19th to 20th of August. The play is a two handler production following two men isolated on a remote island off the east coast of Australia. Jonny Gold is a former reality star who has isolated himself from the spotlight after his girlfriend’s death. When Kerrigan’s single seat plane crashes onto the island, conflict ensues between both men: as they have differentiated desires. Through this 75 minute play, the themes of loss, success, fame, redemption and friendship is explored.

This production is a new piece of work from Peter Martyn, who has drawn on the world of psychology to evaluate relationships. Through exploring the stages of grief and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, Martyn has conjured an empowering piece of literature which will be powerful for any audience. Alongside this, Martyn also directs this performance which will allow for an authentic experience. The two actors in this production are James Turner, executive director at Greenwich Theatre making his return to stage and Nick Thomas, a professional actor from South London.
